Lofts & Ladders four Loft Designers are highly trained individuals with an affinity towards a practical approach, good design and careful administration. A Loft Designer will visit your home and initially complete a “needs analysis”, helping you turn your loft conversion ideas into a practical reality. The Loft Designer's ongoing training and experience enables him to give you a clear design as well as an accurate cost of your loft on the very first visit.
Your Loft Designer will be available throughout your loft conversion, constantly keeping you informed and be your main point of contact. He is backed up by the infrastructure of Lofts & Ladders central core structure; where specialists, additional labour, transport and workshops are at his call.
A professional engineer routinely inspects every structural aspect of your loft conversion and issues his certificate of compliance on the satisfactory completion of your loft.
Richard Miller
Richard operates in the Helderberg area, where he also lives and is part of the community there.
He comes from a building background and has been in the industry since leaving school.
Richard excels in administration and he leads by example.
He is the general manager at Lofts & Ladders as well as a Loft Designer.
J.J.
J.J. is a trained chef, and coming from this artistic background, his specialty at Lofts & Ladders is design.
He operates as a Loft Designer from the Northern Suburbs and also sometimes cooks up a storm for us at the office!
J.J. also excels in project management and has been with us for a number of years.
Daniel
Daniel has been in the building industry since he left school.
He has excellent technical experience and trained as a draftsman.
He recently joined Lofts & Ladders team as a Loft Designer and operates from the Southern Suburbs.
Malcom
Malcom went into early retirement and joined Lofts & Ladders as a Loft Designer after many years as project manager at Telkom.
He has bought all his project management skills to Lofts & Ladders and operates from the West Coast area.
Cliff
Cliff has 53 years experience in the building industry and was a carpenter by trade.
He is the founding member of Lofts & Ladders and arrived on our shores from the UK in 1969.
Cliff has been a part-time lecturer at UCT Architectural School and excels in technical aspects of the business.
He is called in to solve technical problems on site and to deal with clients on high end issues.
