When Lofts & Ladders set out to design the Ready Stairs, the challenge was to create a good looking traditional staircase which could be ordered and installed in days, not weeks, at a competitive price.
The geometrical set out and calculations of a professional staircase with even risers (heights) and treads, winders (corners) and landings, requires many years of experience and know-how.
Lofts & Ladders have developed software that calculates these critical measurements and then specifies the materials to ensure that you get a staircase that is easy to climb, safe and professional.
To do this we designed a discreet steel bracket to connect the stair treads to the main strings.
These eliminated the need for expensive and time consuming carpentry and enable us to simply hold stocks of the parts and assemble quickly on your order.
Our trained artisans are capable of complex installations such as suspended landings. For this type of installation, we replace the impractical spiral staircase and create a winder staircase with a suspended landing, which allows the client to carry furniture up freely.
